UPDATE

Judge Keith Blackman found probable cause to charge 17 year old Jacob Craig with First Degree Murder in the death of Jimmy Hall, a 73 year old resident of Lake City. Craig is being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a $1,000,000 bond; he has been charged as an adult. His next court date is June 28, 2016 at the Craighead County Courthouse. Murder in the First Degree is a Class Y Felony and is punishable to 10 to 40 years in prison or life and there is no minimum or maximum fine.

 


 

 

 

Sheriff Marty Boyd of the Craighead County Sheriff's Office states that a 17 year old white male was taken into custody by Deputies in the early morning hours on Sunday May 1, 2016 in connection to the murder of Jimmy Hall of County Road 801 in Lake City, AR. A probably cause hearing is expected on Monday when charges will be announce. No other suspects are being sought at this time.
